Well Done to Mike on getting his splendid letter published in the Dominion Post newspaper today in response to Rosemary McLeod’s recent opinion piece – The Dark Art of conspiracy and phony ‘news’ sites. His letter certainly shows just what a “dark art” fake news reporting is!

  1. I also sent this letter to dom post, so I hope someone there takes an interest in Dr Hulsey’s study…

I agree with Rosemary McLeod in her opinion piece that there are many conspiracy theories about 9/11. The US government’s own explanation of 9/11 is itself a conspiracy theory in which a few Saudi Arabians outwitted the American national security state. There is no doubt that there are some outlandish and silly conspiracy theories in the alternative media but isn’t the mainstream providing a vacuum for these theories by not reporting on credible scientific evidence regarding 9/11. Recently going viral online but not reported on in the press was the article in the Europhysics News entitled 15 years later: On the physics of high-rise building collapses,” which has now been viewed nearly 350,000 times since its release, and which even caused the magazine’s server to break down at one point. Also, Dr. Leroy Hulsey, chair of the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department at the University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF), who is now 18 months into his two-year computer modeling study on the collapse of World Trade Center Building 7 (WTC 7) recently announced his preliminary findings where he stated categorically that there was “zero” probability that WTC 7 collapsed due to the fires it experienced on 9/11. Why can’t I find this in my newspaper?

    • I think the last two sentences would make an excellent letter to the Dom Post. And the corporate media wonder why they are losing readers! Maybe at long last they are realising that some potential readers can think for themselves.
