U.S. wants resignation of “anti-Israel” United Nations representative

UN rapporteur Richard Falk is facing calls to resign or be sacked after attacking an accredited non-governmental-organisation

America’s ambassador to the United Nations Human Rights Council, Eileen Chamberlain Donahoe, called for the resignation of UN rapporteur Richard Falk this Friday.

Falk was recently criticised for attempting to “justify” the Boston bombings and has been noted as a long-standing “anti-Israel” activist and 9/11 “truther” (those who believe 9/11 was an “inside job”).

His fans are quick to cite Falk’s work into the “Israeli occupation of Palestine”, but Falk has landed himself in hot water on various occasions for trying to silence critics and some say, avoid transparency.

The UN watchdog, UN Watch, has now said that a “draft resolution to remove Falk has been published by the United Nations as an official document and will be put before the (Human Rights) Council when he addresses it tomorrow.”

  1. I haven’t read everything the man has said/written so far, but I have heard him with Kevin Barrett several times in previous years. I think he is a problem for USrael no matter what. But, I think he unfortunately has one foot in the truther camp and the other in the mainstream camp, which makes his messages very muddled. His description of the Boston Bombings, which we all know were something like the OKC or 7/7 bombings, is way off. It pees me off almost as much as the ones who wrote the “unfit” article linked above. It’s too bad, if he’s going to be a thorn in their side, that he can’t just be a real truther and not a half-truther.
